'Twelve' - a Kali Theatre company production at Tristan Bates Theatre

Date:
12/12/2013 - 19:30 - 22:00

Asha are proud to have collaborated with Kali Theatre Company in their research for upcoming production 'Twelve', which explores so-called 'honour killings' in the UK.

Shocked and moved by true stories of young women killed in the UK in the name of familly 'honour' where according to the Metropolitan Police, on average 12 such killings occur each year, twelve writers have collaborated to create a unique theatre event that gives voice to these lost lives.

Twelve monologues, one from each writer, each exploring some aspect of the lives on one of these murdered women will be woven togther to create a moving and poignant piece of theatre.
